Director / Certified Financial Planner
Mike brings a wealth of experience to Ethical Investors, having worked in the financial services industry for over 40 years. He was instrumental in the inception of Ethical Investors over 35 years ago, and has been a dedicated member of the team for the past 29 and a half years.
“Inequality is at the heart of everything that matters” is his worldview, and as a result he is driven by a sense of duty to use his position as a business leader to create change where he can.
This drive also resulted in Mike co-founding Ethical Investors’ sister company Ethical Screening, of which he is now Managing Director, in the hope that further change could be achieved by working with institutional and discretionary investors to invest more responsibly in equity markets. This additional role means that he is well-tuned into the world of ethics and sustainability, making him an excellent guide in the world of investments.
Mike’s philosophy is that financial advice should be tailored to the client’s unique ethical and financial goals. He takes a client-first approach, focused on their values, to deliver financial advice that is both enjoyable and comprehensible. He builds strong and long-lasting relationships with his clients, providing holistic planning that considers all issues and not solely financial ones.
