Ben has been at Ethical Investors since early 2021. After graduating with a degree in Philosophy from the University of Warwick, he worked as a financial advisor at Banco Santander, providing advice across pensions, protection, and investments. In 2010 Ben was awarded the company’s ‘Financial Planning Advisor’ of the year award.
He values honesty first and foremost, and believes that financial planning is as much personal as it is financial. He enjoys taking time to listen and understand what matters most to each client in order to create a tailored financial plan entwining both ethical and financial goals.
Ben is also a trustee of Ethical Giving and a member of the ‘Good Practice Working Group’, tasked with developing industry-wide good practice when advising on sustainable and ethical products.
Outside of work Ben enjoys spending time in nature, yoga, music, and wild swimming.
Prior to working at Ethical Investors Ben spent several years as a full-time musician, writing and performing his own songs all over the United Kingdom. He has toured with likes of Leo Sayer, The Proclaimers, The Christians, and Roy Wood, as well as organising and performing his own UK headline tours.
