We are regularly asked if we can offer advice on 'ethical' home insurance and travel insurance. We have decided that this is not a market in which we have sufficient expertise to be able to offer the highest quality advice.
However, rather than just say "we don't do that, you'll have to go somewhere else", we have looked around the market place to identify insurers and policies that might be of interest to ethical investors. As a result of this research, we have so far identified two very interesting options that we feel will be of interest.
This company is an ethical insurance intermediary, rather than an actual insurance company. They offer buildings, contents and travel insurance via Lloyds of London. Ethical Investors Group has established a working relationship with NatureSave, because their ideals, business methods and commitment to ethical money are the same as our own.
Interestingly, 10% of the premium generated from the sale of insurance policies will go to benefit environmental and conservation organisations. This is achieved via the NatureSave Trust.

We must stress that we are not offering advice in this area; we are simply using our experience to identify schemes that clients may want to pursue directly themselves.
